We
were up at 5.00 am to be ready to catch our 9.40 am flight to Brisbane.
The hotel arranged for an “assistant” to take us through to the waiting
lounge. This is a very helpful service. We boarded and then had an eight hour flight
to Brisbane. There was a screaming baby nearby which was
difficult to console, so made it hard to doze off. I didn’t have anything to drink on any of the
flights and was careful not to drink much before the flight and always went to
the toilet before boarding. On this
flight I did not use the toilet while on board so was very pleased when we
finally left the plane about 7.30 pm and headed to a toilet in the
terminal. Myles was there to meet
Sharney and Terry’s brother Shane was there to take us home. Sharney and I were very pleased to be back
and that our trip was a success – “We did it!”
